Out and About with Slow and Say Hello!

08/13/25

“In July, we held successful outposts at the Morgan Horse Ranch and at the Dirt Fondo rest stop at Ocean Riders.  In addition, I made presentations to two different groups of summer campers from Marin Greenplay (who have an affiliation with Marin County Parks). The presentations happened at the Mill Valley MUP Turnaround. The requested focus of the presentation was how to safely share trails with horses when hiking with your dog.  Both presentations were very well received and gave the kids a lot to think about.  3 boarders from Horse Hill walked over with their horses and provided an invaluable assist.

This month. we have already held an outpost at the Old Railroad Grade Fire Road in Mill Valley.  We will be next popping up at the Indian Valley Fire Road in Novato on Saturday, August 23 from 9 am - 12 pm --- Just in case you are interested in volunteering.

I have included a few photos from this past month's outposts.”
